In March of 2020 panic was mounting over a spreading illness that wasn’t well understood and appeared to be deadly. And yet SPL was hiring. One of the applicants stood out among the crowd; she was punctual, professional, engaging and clearly intelligent. She was offered the job as the lock-down orders began. Within just a few months she had established herself as a critical member of our small team. A year has passed and we want to mark the occasion with a public statement of gratitude! Ebony came to us with military experience, but no petroleum experience and in this short, difficult year she’s mastered the art of multi-state petroleum taxation calculation and reporting.
