Standard Petroleum Logistics was formally launched on July 12th, 2017. Originally designed to be a consulting company utilizing Misty Sexton’s decade-plus in the downstream petroleum industry, it quickly moved to petroleum distribution. Mergers and acquisitions of regional oil companies had created a vacuum. People wanted service. Fast forward eight years and SPL has become a regional distributor of gasoline, diesel, heating oil, propane, biofuels, renewable diesel and kerosene. In the last few years we’ve expanded our tank services division, providing underground and aboveground storage tank inspections and repair of tanks and also pumps and equipment.

Thank you to all the suppliers, vendors, drivers, colleagues and friends who have supported us!

SPL is proud to announce we are now offering renewable diesel!

Renewable diesel is chemically in line with traditional diesel, making it a drop-in replacement for traditional diesel applications. It is made mostly from agricultural waste, and is therefore renewable! It also boasts lower emissions during combustion, helping users to reduce their carbon footprint. Additionally, it is more stable than biodiesel and will tolerate cold temperatures more easily (though we still highly recommend the seasonal use of additives or winter blends).
